Sanso’s Extra Virgin Olive Oil was selected by the Culinary Institute of America as the featured olive oil of the 2005 and 2006 Worlds of Flavor International Conference and Festival. It was the olive oil used by all chefs at the conference as well as at tastings.

OLIVE OIL BENEFITS

Recent FDA studies have shown that people who consume two tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil per day can lower their risk of coronary heart disease.

A 2000 study published in the Journal of Epidemiol Community Health stated that olive oil may have a protective effect on the development of CRC (colorectal cancer.)

HISTORY

Sansó Foods, Inc. is young company with a long history. Established in Cuba in 1917, the company acquired the Sansó brand from the Sansó family and began the product development and marketing process in 2002. The company now offers a wide array of Mediterranean and Hispanic-Caribbean all-natural world food products led by it's Spanish premium extra virgin olive oil that is quickly becoming a market leader.

Gus C. Robayna is President and CEO of Miami-based Sansó Foods, Inc. Robayna oversees the fast-growing company that was originally established in Santa Clara, Cuba in 1917. Under his leadership, the company has dramatically increased sales and distribution points and expanded it's product lines in it's first few years in the USA marketplace.
